RIPN end of year event creates a swell of interest

The recent end-of-year event hosted by the Research in Practice Network (RIPN) proved to be successful, boosting membership numbers and overall attendance. Dr. Steve Reid, a respected local sports physician (Newcastle Sports Medicine), presented a compelling case study on a rare shoulder condition. The gathering of 40 local musculoskeletal clinicians was also updated regarding the recent accomplishments of the Network and vision for ongoing research endeavors.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of NU Space in Newcastle, the event provided an ideal platform for professionals to converge, exchange clinical insights, and foster invaluable networking opportunities. These gatherings not only serve as a forum for learning but also as a conduit for forging connections within the local healthcare community.

As the RIPN continues to find innovative ways to translate research to practice for our local clinicians, this event served as an important reminder of the benefits of bringing together the local community to share knowledge and clinical expertise to solve problems.

RIPN are now working hard on developing more events like this over 2023 as there is clearly an appetite for more face to face networking and learning.
